Madagascar Tamanu Oil

For hundreds of years, this oil has been treasured by the people of Madagascar & its surrounding islands. Tamanu oil is known as a pharmacy in a bottle, primarily due to its remarkable healing power. Our tamanu oil journey begins from the pristine Vohibola Forest in Madagascar. Madagascar’s environment is one of the cleanest in the world. Toxic waste & other pollutants are rarely found in Madagascar because it is an underdeveloped nation. Additionally, most Madagascan farmers use traditional farming methods without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides because they cannot afford modern farming. Hence, the plants there are grown organically by default which leads to superior quality harvest like our cold pressed tamanu oil.

Tragically, the Vohibola Forest is one of the last pieces of pristine coastal forest left in Madagascar. This forest which houses a large variety of native flora & fauna found nowhere else on Earth, is plagued by illegal logging. So, we carefully sourced our cold pressed tamanu oil from a Vohibola Forest conservation project. This project helps to create jobs for the locals & enables them to harvest the forest’s resources sustainably.
